School Council
-Welcome to the School Council-
This year, the School Council will be led by Miss East (Year 5 Year Group Leader).
The School Council is an important part of the school community and its members are elected democratically by their peers. It enables children from Years 1 to 6 to have a voice in what happens in their school.
Children are able to voice their opinions in an open forum during School Council meetings and have their say on a variety of topics.
The School Council representatives are responsible for ensuring that all children are able to express their thoughts and feelings on how to make the school a kinder, safer and more enjoyable place to be.
The School Council will be supported by the The Friends of St Thomas of Canterbury (formerly the PTA), which is chaired by Mrs A Edwards who is a former teacher, and parent at St Thomas of Canterbury Catholic Primary School.
Thank you for your support,
Miss East (School Council Leader)
